We’re 118 days away from the November general election, and campaign season is in full swing. My campaign for Portland City Council, District 2, is building momentum every day and I am honored to continue earning endorsements from community leaders and members of the public.

I am running for office because Portland is home, the city I was born and raised in, and I am working hard so that social outcomes in Portland are not determined by race, income, sexual orientation, or gender.

At my core I am a progressive candidate who understands and challenges the role of local government. I have a strong vision for postive changes I would like to see in every operational facet of the city, including policy positions in housing, transportation, infrastructure, public safety, and livability. I understand how public policy plays out in real life, how to articulate a vision, and implement the vision for improvements, while bringing my colleagues and the community along together.

I love Portland and I am thrilled to celebrate our great city with you, in community, sharing more about why I will be an asset on City Council.
